We would like to reassure all our patients and colleagues that we are still open and providing care. We understand that even during these difficult times, our patients have injuries that may need acute care, or have a painful orthopaedic condition requiring treatment.
We would like to reassure people attending our rooms that your safety is paramount, and we have taken steps to minimise your risk. These include:
The new rooms at the Specialist Consulting Suites at Kogarah have a spacious waiting area, and clinic rooms of at least 15m2 in size - allowing for social distancing. Physical contact with your doctor will only be performed when absolutely necessary.
Dr Adie is also offering consultations via Telehealth when appropriate. Please ask our staff when making your appointment if you feel this is right for you.
The Federal Government has eased restrictions on elective surgery. Dr Adie will recommence non urgent surgery on suitable candidates as well as providing urgent private surgery such as bone fractures, joint injuries and dislocations, and infections.
